Yes. The target date and event name are encoded in the URL — opening it on any device reproduces the same countdown.
Does it count down past the target?
Once the target time passes, the timer reaches zero. You can update the target to a new future date to start over.
Does it work in different time zones?
The target date is stored in absolute time (UTC). When the link is opened, the countdown shows the remaining time until that absolute moment — so all viewers count down to the same instant, regardless of where they are.
