About this tool
A world clock displays the current local time for multiple cities at once, updating live every second. This page shows 12 major financial and cultural hubs by default — New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney, Dubai, and more — and lets you add any additional city from the IANA timezone database.
Each clock is colour-coded by local time band: bright green for working hours, amber for early morning or evening, and muted for night. A sun/moon icon hints at whether it is currently day or night in that city.
How to use it

Does the time stay accurate if I leave the tab open all day?
Yes. The clock ticks every second using the system clock, so it stays accurate as long as your device clock is synced (which is the default on every modern operating system).
Can I add a city that is not in the default list?
Yes. Search for any city or timezone name in the input. The IANA database covers every populated time zone on Earth.
Why does it show day/night with an icon?
It is a quick visual hint of whether a colleague or friend is likely awake, calculated from local sunrise/sunset approximations based on the timezone offset.
Does this work offline?
Once the page is loaded, the clock continues to tick from your device clock — no internet needed.
